Mohammad is a senior editor on MideastYouth.com, where he has been an active member for more than a year. He is also the organization’s partime adviser in Iran and helps translate reports and documents from and into Farsi.

Having spent a great deal of her life in the Arab world, Tamara has experienced firsthand the issues that are detrimental to its progress just as she has experienced its greatest strengths. It has been a constant battle to reconcile her own feelings of devotion to and frustration with the Arab world. She is currently undertaking a PhD in Middle Eastern Political Thought at the University of Exeter and devotes her time to reading, writing and thinking about the interaction of power, of histories, of nations and of people - specifically relating to the Middle East.

Tori is a smalll-town midwestern American who spent years living in Tehran with her husband Kamran, an Iranian malcontent. She is way past calling herself a youth, so is no longer offended when people call her a girl. She joined MideastYouth.com when it was only three weeks old and has been a consistent contributor ever since, particularly in the administrative area.

An engineer by profession, Nadia’s interests range from history, interfaith dialogue and learning about other cultures. Nadia oversees several projects at MideastYouth.com and is active in translating material to and from French.

Stuck on the name? How about Elie-sheh-vah… Or Elie for short. She’s our PR manager based in Jerusalem and helps maintain our visibility on the internet and beyond, representing Mideast Youth in conferences and events in Israel. Eliesheva joined MideastYouth.com as a voluntary staff member and author just a few months after it launched 2 years ago, and has been an active member ever since.

Niroj is a Kurdish student who is very active in trying to secure basic human rights for the Kurdish minority within the Middle East. She is the current Director of the Alliance of Kurdish Rights, which was founded and sponsored by Mideast Youth.

Nasim is the Director and Editor-in-Chief of a series of initiatives online, including Afghan Press, which is currently being funded and overseen by Mideast Youth. He works in Afghanistan as a photographer, independent journalist, and occasional project coordinator.
